Beach sculptures

I've landed quite lucky here in The Hague, work-wise. My work is literally a two minute walk from Schiveningen beach and I love the sculptures which are dotted around the boulevard.  These are by an American called Tom Ottersen.  They had been in storage for some time as the boulevard has had a major revamp.  There are 23 sculptures in all and they are called 'Fairytale figures by the sea' - the idea being to make sculpture more freely accessible.  The sculptures initially look fun and unassuming but on further inspection, some take on serious insights, are quite political and make a statement.
