Gem

Last shift at the morning job I’ve had for the last 3 months. This is Gem, my favourite horse there. She’s an old companion mare, so well behaved and easy going.

Forgot to take any photos yesterday as, like today, I worked 3 jobs, starting at 7am and finishing at 5pm. Except today I finished at 7pm! Unfortunately, Richard was thrown from a horse at lunchtime before I arrived. I got a text from his mum to say they were in A&E and Richard was going in for an X-ray.

He ended up staying in as he had a tingling in his arms, and was wearing a neck brace.

By the time Hilary returned, I’d done everything except walk the dogs and that was only because I wasn’t sure what to do with Jake, who’s just had a cruciate op, having snapped it a couple of weeks ago.
