The River Doon
A grand morning out before taking L to collect her car after its annual service.
The River Doon flows for 23 miles from Loch Doon, joining the Firth of Clyde just south of Ayr.
This is the view from the Brig o' Doon, which was the setting for the final verse of Robert Burns' poem Tam O'Shanter. The extra photo is the famous Brig taken from the grounds of the Brig o' Doon Hotel
