An unexpected visitor in the garden today :-)

Question: How much upheaval can an electrician cause when changing a fusebox?

Answer: An enormous amount!

What a day! Not only was the electrician late arriving .... but on top of moving furniture ...... all over the house ..... I ended up having to empty out the large cupboards gloryholes in both bedrooms! The whole house was upside down ..... the bed totally disappeared under piles of stuff! It was just like an obstacle course!!!!!!

He had decided that ...... due to Health & Safety .... as well as the new fusebox ..... we had to have a wire running from that ..... up through the ceiling into the cupboard in the front bedroom ..... up into the loft ...... back down through the cupboard in the back bedroom ...... into the kitchen .... to be attached to the cold water pipe! What good fun!

Although it was a nightmare day ..... it cannot compare with the trauma in America. My thoughts are with all affected.
