AMAZING GENEROSITY

For the last few days it has been snowing these blossoms from the great conker tree in front of our Hôtel de Ville. Soon 90% of the mini conkers will be rejected & squished on the pavement.

In September the mature conkers will fall & no doubt I'll pick up a few just because they're so beautiful, but doubtless I won't have the inspiration to plant them where they might flourish.

Who knows?
