Back blip
An afternoon trip on Sunday into Glasgow to see some more exhibitions and installations forming part of the Glasgow International contemporary art event. As one of the installations is based around the Glasgow Underground rail system (the Subway) I bought a day pass and, as well as seeing that (called Loop) at various stations, I used my Subway ticket to visit some other venues too.
However, it was another bit of witty artwork, not part of the festival as far as I am aware, that caught my eye and became my blip for the day. Crossing the Glasgow Bridge from the south side of the River Clyde to the north, this wording on the bridge is a witty and wonderful counterpoint to the derelict Ladies washrooms behind.
I've included a couple of photos from two of the installations in the Glasgow International festival as extras.
