Ready

for the Grande Departe of the Tour De Yorkshire tomorrow. Unfortunately this is as close as she’ll get to seeing the action because her school have decided not to allow the children to go watch this time, unlike most others in the area.

The girls were very excited when I picked them up for musical theatre as tonight they were having a costume trial for the show. Rachel decided it was NOT the plan and she didn’t like the first idea at all!

When we got home, Katie did some gorgeous piano practice and this morning she’d done a particularly lovely job of her clarinet. I suggested she watch a bit of telly afterwards but after a bad attitude last night, I had said yesterday she couldn’t watch any Harry Potter this week. She lost it tonight at the thought of that again. Bedtime sort of fell apart from there in. I do like though that regardless of how bedtime goes, neither of us will go to sleep without cuddles and sorting it all out.
