Fishing

Sitting doing a bit of knitting, and through the window I spotted this heron, on the slip, doing a spot of fishing! What a wonderful place to live . . . !

Is it a bit much to add that there were also red breasted mergansers fishing just slightly further out in the bay but I couldn't get them in the same shot . . . !
