Bad Windsheim

Here you can see the Bavarian variant of a May tree showing guild symbols. The house is Georg Wilhelm Steller’s birthplace. He was born there in 1746. He was a famous scientist who discovered together with Virus Bering Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. He also discovered Steller’s sea cow, which became extinct only 25 years after it was discovered.
