Lock Cottage

This pretty house does B and B. It’s situated on the Trent and Mersey Canal just close to Branston Water Park.

I often wander round the lake, and I always treat myself to a few minutes leaning on the wall on the bridge. It’s about a mile round the lake, it’s flat, and there are plenty of seats dotted along the way. It’s been a great help to me after both my hip operations.

A touch of blue sky makes all the difference.
