Fruits of the allotment

There's a lot of work to do down at the allotment, been a bit neglected lately with doing the bedroom up.
I've been down every few days to get stuff for dinners but yesterday Marlane and I mowed a lot of the grassy areas, the allotment neighbours love us for it and give us stuff to say 'thank you'. We also harvested all of the remaining beetroot, pulled a celery, couple of small Swedes, a few parsley plants for replanting in our garden and dug up the sweet potatoes.
We've never grown sweet potatoes before and what you see in front of the pressure cooker is what we got from two plants. Not a lot but we'll roast them on Sunday with the parsnips (mouth begins to water and drooling Homer Simpson fashion!).
