Garden weeds

I was out the door at first daylight and began my first weeding of the season. Ugh!

I started with my gladioli garden. My front door flower pot was next. In it among others is a miniature gardenia bush. It’s frost resistant but the long hard freeze we had this year was tough on it. The leaves have turned brown but not fallen off. Yay for spring and all the new green leaves that are appearing on the plant!

Too bad that hard freeze didn’t do a number on the weeds, like the ones in my palm pot!

I began weeding along my cat fence garden but only got halfway before it was 10am and the temperature was getting too warm for me. I’ll need to finish tomorrow.
