Dia de la Cruz

Here you can see my neighbour Paqui making an enormous paella for all the people who gather on this day to celebrate Dia de la Cruz. Friends, family and neighbour eat, drink , sing and dance sevillanas in this little square from the morning till late in the evening.
They always decorate a cross with flowers made of paper and all kinds of flower pots, plates, shawls and pottery. (see extra)

It is the same every year. I used to like it a lot when I was much younger, now I don't feel strong enough to stand all day in the open air with so much noise and so many people. I think I am getting old!!
