Sting in the Tail
Sunny with a little cloud cover, and slight breeze.
Hotter today and so, having completed the jobs we wanted to do this morning, we headed off to the beach to act like holidaymakers.
We walked along the beach and paddled on the edge. The water was cold but not freezing and I commented to Alan that it will be this cold in Scarborough in August!
Along the beach we noticed some Jellyfish which children must have caught and put on the beach. There were several in the sea so we watched our step, The main photo shows how intricate they are, really beautiful but they can of course be deadly. The extra is part of one without all the purple frill I think. The sun making it look golden.
We walked back along the Promenade and stopped off for an ice cream. a lovely couple of hours in the sunshine.
