Manifesto

There has been a lot of press and media coverage here in Scotland about the direction and leadership of Creative Scotland and its relationship with the arts community. Letters have been written by artists, ministers and Chairs.

Today was a day for the spoken word. More importantly, it was a call to action.

Inspirational and passionate messages were delivered by a range of artists including Janice Galloway and Korine Polwart. There were songs, a film, illustrations, a tiny play and a poem.

This is the poem, it's by Don Paterson and it was letterpress printed onto card for us to sign up to and to encourage others to do so as well.

It's not at a lot to ask for really.
