Got there early

I took L down to the polling station (for the local elections) with me on our way to nursery this morning. It was her second experience of Mummy voting (very keen that she grows up feeling that voting is important) and we got there as they opened the doors at 7am.

This afternoon I went to the hospital to try to get some answers for my (still) sore tongue. It was a waste of time as I had been referred to the wrong department... so the three months I have waited since referral was wasted to. I asked if the consultant could refer me to the right department but no. I have to wait for him to write a letter to my GP to tell him where to refer me and then start all over again. I have had this problem since 1st October 2017 and am still no nearer to finding out what’s going on. A total waste of time and NHS money.

On the up-side, I was home early enough to take L to the park before her dinner time - something I can’t usually do on a Thursday.
