Wonderful tall and not-so-tall buildings and a lively feel. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and everyone was out having a great time - wedding parties eating hot dogs, tourists taking selfies in front of the Cloud Gate sculpture (aka the 'Bean'), people crowding into the bar of our hotel for free drinks. Just outside we could look up North LaSalle to see the 1927 35 East Wacker Drive building (with the tower on top) and the shiny new Trump Tower next to it. That name, emblazoned in huge letters, dominated the view from our room. Nice building though.
