Drinking Fountain

This Drinking Fountain (not working) is in Shroggs Park, Halifax.
These fountains fascinate me - the workmanship, the carving, the detail is amazing. I assume all the carvings, coats of arms etc. etc. all had a significant importance when they were erected. Now they seem a little neglected.
There must be a web site somewhere dedicated to such items - I must investigate!
