Up North

Raining in Manchester this morning. No surprise there.
Had a couple of client meetings which went really well. Made the effort worthwhile. And it was an effort - still working on the train on the way down yesterday and finishing at midnight. But that is surely my bad time management.
Finished the day with a run and then a meet up with my ex- boss for dinner, chat and wine - and a late train south to my dads.
We were eating out in Manchesters trendy Northern Quarter in a converted market hall. Loved it and will return to the area next time I’m in the city.
