My Pot Unfired.

The weather has been horrible here today wet and cold.

Pottery today. This is a and image of two views of a pot I have been working on for a few weeks. I was going to make it have a very thin neck, but when I got to this stage today I felt it was finished. It is about 7'' high and diameter.

It still need some finishing off next week, this is before it is coloured and has its first firing.

Some of you may remember I was making a Box with a fish theme I was making, well it now has been glazed and is waiting for its second firing. I want to put luster on the fish so it will need yet another firing after this one. So this could be a little while before it is finished. Patience is the thing there.
