Ushering at graduation

As I watched you all walk by yesterday, the past four years flashed before me. You took courses that tried you, had jobs aside of school, and took classes at the MUW as well as at MSU. Your loved ones passed away, you lost love, found love, got sick, got better, battled depression, anxiety, dyslexia, ADHD, and had days when you wanted to give up. But you didn’t, and here you are. Congratulations!!!

It was an honor to get to know you, to meet your friends and family (hi, Bailey’s Mom, and Dad!), and to watch you get ready for taking on the world. Knowledge is power, and whatever power you have, use it to empower others. Work hard, do good, and PAY ATTENTION!
