Blue

As usual with Holly Blues I take a photo from a distance and then just when I think I've got close enough for a nice picture, off it goes. Still, it was good to see two in quick succession on my way back up the hill from the station this evening, including this one in the graveyard. There were Orange-tips and a Peacock about too, still no Speckled Woods though.

This would probably be a good weekend for seeing a few more species emerge locally, but I'm off on my travels, I should get a chance for a look around on Monday though.
