It actually means Hameen ice flower and it is a very rare pre ice age survivor. This dark blue one is, I am told, the original. There are white ones and pale blue hybrids too but the dark one to look for. They have survived the retreating ice only in the province of Hama and Thursday night was the camera club's big hunt. We found them as you can see!
