Birthday treat

Lulabel and I met at Mugdock Country Park this afternoon for a walk with Mabel and Minty. They both ended up filthy from the muddy paths and had to be 'encouraged' into the loch at the end of the walk to clean their paws and bellies.

D#2 and I then enjoyed a highly calorific afternoon tea in Caulder's while I inspected the large bag of goodies Lulabel had presented, most of which had the words 'salted caramel' or 'chocolate' printed somewhere on them. Such delicious words! ;-)

Tomorrow the birthday celebrations continue, as D#1 is due to visit...
