What Blip means to me

DP review has an article about a study that found sharing one photo per day improves wellbeing. They attributed this partially to community. I add that I think it involves elements of the practice of gratitude and mindfulness.
Blip reminds me of the seven day B&W challenge on Facebook last year, except that with Blip I can explain what is behind the photo. Blip also allows me to share my exploration of photography with people who understand.
Tonight I went to an event by another local photography club. Some of the pictures were lovely, but the same building had an exhibition of a landscape photographer who was amazing.
How good do I have the potential to get? I’ve started taking pictures of boring things because the light captures me. This is my latest evolution. If I can hold onto it when I have more interesting landscapes to photograph....and then if I can adequately capture it....
I took additional gym pictures to illustrate, “intention” today but the posted image is of my dog, dearly longing to visit our friend. It was taken with my iPhone using the portrait algorithm.
