Remembrance Day here. 8pm, 2 minutes silence. Got the flag out and flew at half mast. Tomorrow it’s Liberation Day and I can raise the flag fully as the convoy of WW2 vehicles drive through the village en route to the big celebration in the city. They like a good parade here.
