A night in the country with friends

A wonderful evening with Kate and Mark, dog Luna and 4 cats, wine in the garden where we admired Kate’s beautiful plants. Mark cooked an incredible risotto then it was off to the village hall to meet the locals, a lovely friendly bunch, I sang happy birthday to a man named Colin and ‘I’ve got a crush on you’ to Fred age 94. Back to base for a nightcap. Thanks guys! Xx

In other news two nice guys called Tom and Adam came to pick up our leather sofa we’ve had for 16 years for a makeover! 15 plectrums fell out when they took it apart ;-) I also have some chairs which are over 200 years old and they’ve taken them for some attention and a lovely old table from my Grandmother for a new hinge.
