Birthday !

I managed to pull off a surprise party for my husband's 60th (egad are we really that old) birthday, complete with a surprise visit form the middle child! The elder daughter was not able to make it as she was working and had already asked for next weekend off to go visit her sister.Still  , all in all , a lovely evening with friends and family, The only downside is I had to make a cake for the house as well as have the cake at the restaurant. The upside of that is I just sent a quarter of that cake off with my middle child so at least there will be less at home to tempt me!
