Pileated Woodpecker

I spoke to Runyon yesterday and showed him the mountain wood sorrel that is up against the backside of his garage.  He said he had no idea it was there and not only could I have some of it, he didn't care if I took it all!

This morning I was outside at 7am digging up about a third of the mountain wood sorrel and transplanting it to my garden.  We will see how it does.

While doing the plant transfer, this pileated woodpecker came for a visit.  I had to make a quick capture with my iPhoneX.  

I've got a few chores to do this morning and then it's errands with Kent this afternoon.
