Spring walk

Glorious day, so a plan to walk down from Prestwood into Great Missenden, through Angling Spring Wood.

Lovely bluebells going down and coming back up, with the sun playing on them.  Then into Missenden for a well deserved glass of something, watching the footballers prepare for their game.  Don't understand why the ball is round and they never pick it up and run with it, but there you go.

Walking back up we saw these very sensible sheep sheltering from the sun under the hedge.  Never noticed it in previous years.

Finally, as we came back down the Close, there was one of our Red Kites just checking us back in.

Lovely day and hopefully there will be more.  Interestingly as we think about our next trip down to France, we see they are at least three degrees below us here and are having thunderstorms.  So for once we are in the right place at the right time!
