Cherry blossom (and the sloping pole)

The cherry blossom in Wooler looks stunning today against the blue sky, but it's a sunny Bank Holiday Saturday and the town is bustling. Impossible to get a shot without cars or people! Only one walker (and a sloping pole!) in this one.

We've decided to have a day out after the BH, and to have a working weekend. Not much work done today though, as we slept very late after another disturbed night due to MrM's painful back. He needs to do the exercises...

A pleasant enough day, and I'm home alone this evening as MrM has gone to play at a ceilidh in Rothbury. Planning to go down in to the 'yard to sort out a couple of containers - birds have scratched a lot of the soil out of the pots and on to the concrete - before sitting down to relax.
