Rose-Breasted Grosbeak

I saw quite a few of these while along the Texas Gulf Coast, but I don't often see them around here.  

I made a quick trip to Croydon Creek this morning only to find that the bird feeders have been moved.  They are in a sunnier location but they are no longer near the large trees where many of the birds perched going back and forth to the feeders, so the backgrounds won't be quite as good.  I saw all the usual suspects that I also find in my backyard, but then for just a moment this one made a brief appearance. Blip!

This was followed by a stop at the nursery for some mulch and a few more perennials for pollinators for the garden.
