Hidcote Manor Gardens.May 2018
I guess that bona fide Blip users post a daily photo which has been taken on that date. I hope this is not "cheating".
I took so many on Thursday 3rd, this week, on our visit to Hidcote that it seemed a shame not to post some more.
The light was so clear and sharp.
There is a beech grove with a winding path under the trees where the effect of the light and the shadows made me stop and gaze up through the fresh green of the newly opening foliage. The trees standing like sentinels, straight and tall.
Garden design and planning is such an art form on a grand scale in the acres of this particular old manor and gardens.
Always a delight.
