Birthday boy

I think something must happen when children turn 8. Their hollow knees develop and their appetites increase enormously!
Birthday cake in the afternoon, dinner with both grandmothers and family at Pizza Express, and an hour later a snack!!
A beautiful day, although I spent hours of it on a train! Beautiful countryside sped by, especially the fantastic bluebell woods near Adlington. But it was good to be welcomed with smiles and a piece of birthday cake!
