Japanese Quince

A survivor of incompetent landscape gardeners ten years ago this Japanese Quince originated as a cutting from my fathers garden. Until recently it was overshadowed by a beech tree, which would account for its slow progress. 
I was delighted today to see that it has produced another spray of blossom and hope that it will now enjoy the increase in light.
