Another masterclass in how to put on a gig. So many cool bands right from the off - including the second time I’ve seen Evil Blizzard in as many nights. Liines, The Lovely Eggs, The Cravats and, of course, The Membranes. Just a superb line up.

I was flagging by the end, though and the curry house was calling a bit louder than the end of The Membranes set. Never mind, it was a boss day.

Earlier I had a wander around the Tattoo Convention in Liverpool at the Adelphi photographing characters and contemplating ink. But, that’s for later.
