Santa Rosa

This is Grace.  I saw a woman walking her around the campground on a leash and it turned out that their campsite is right across from ours.  She said that they found her at a camground last year and she has been travelling with them ever since.  I asked if I could take her picture and she was happy to oblige.  I love her green eyes!

We left Wichita Falls early this morning and had a nice, but long, drive out of Texas and into New Mexico. We are staying at a campground in Santa Rosa for the night and will leave for Taos tomorrow where we will spend the next three nights.  It's only three hours from here so we don't have to get up as early as we did today!  

I am grateful that our gas mileage isn't any worse than it is!  We averaged about 6 miles per gallon today.  We were spoiled by the tailwinds we'd been having that really helped.  Today we had a headwind...
