Kentish Town Forum.
Today was the long awaited day to see Gomez at the Kentish Town Forum.
I completed some admin and chores before walking the boys with RF before it got too warm for them. We spoke to an elderly gentleman who was walking to his favourite chip shop for his lunch and he answered a long asked question regarding a way from the local wood onto the road to make a circular walk. It's good to talk to people you pass.
We popped into town to do some errands and get lunch which ate in the sun in her garden then caught the train and underground to Kentish Town.
With some local information in hand to learn a little of that area we first looked for somewhere to eat and found the Queen of Sheba Ethiopian restaurant and ate lovely food served on a large flatbread called ingera. A completely new experience but lovely food, location and friendly staff.
I've never seen a river in a pipe before but we saw the pipe containing the River Fleet crossing the railway nearby. Definitely not picturesque but shows that man cannot stop nature.
The point of the day was to see Gomez which was a fantastic performance playing all their old material in an interesting building, just wish it had air conditioning!!
