Magpie

Today’s picture is of one of our many Magpies; this one was drinking from the water dish on the bird table.
 
I spent much of the morning sorting out various pieces of knitting which need finishing off. Some need buttons, some need their ends sewing in and others need a ribbon. I like knitting, I am not so keen on sewing them together.
   
After lunch I started on some more knitted items; traffic light hats for maternity hospitals. They use red, amber and green to denote, at a glance, which babies need more specialist care and which babies need less care.

Victoria came home from The London Clinic this morning, she was home by 1045 hours, having rebooked the taxi to come an hour earlier. She came home, with her mum in a taxi as this is the easiest way to get her home. She has been told to take things easy for the first week; Victoria does not know the meaning of “take it easy”!!!
