camilla!

Up pretty late as we were all shattered following yesterday’s sun-drenched walk. Ant disappeared off to swimming with the children (my absolute hero) while Camilla and I had a very chatty breakfast. Embarrassingly we chatted so much that we were late for church and I had to sidle in to crèche sheepishly (awkward when you’re supposed to be running it)! Afterwards we headed to Padley Gorge for an amazing picnic. The children paddled contentedly in the cool water and occasionally fetched a watering can to cool our feet - Camilla was the object of most of the affection/foot cooling. Sad to say farewell to C this evening, it’s always so nice to have old friends around - chat is free flowing and nourishing and hospitality is easy peasy when fun.
