Not all Blue Sky and Sun

After our late night we had something of a lay-in this morning and ate a late breakfast under what seems to be the usual hot sun and blue sky.  However checking the forecast it insisted it was going to rain within the next couple of hours so we decided to do our walk immediately.  By the time we were starting out there was one large thundery looking cloud in the sky. By the end of the walk the sky was covered in thunder clouds or smaller cumulus clouds.  Driving home across this bridge large drops were spattering down.
Later in the day a rainbow landed in Mourão (extra) and a few more drops fell but mostly the threatened rain didn't arrive.
