Steve Cropper's telecaster

I've always wanted to go to Memphis, home of Stax records. The Stax Museum of American Soul Music has given the brand a new lease of life, not only for oldies like me who remember the label's heyday in the late 60s, but also for young aspiring musicians through their Academy next door.
The museum is great, covering the antecedents to soul as well as the studio's great musicians, artists, writers, producers and founders. It achieved something unique through its easy interracial working, but everything changed on the assassination of ML King in their hometown in 1968 and the label folded a few years later.
Steve Cropper was the white guitarist in the label's house band Booker T and the MGs, who co-wrote and performed on many of the famous hits by Otis Redding, Eddie Floyd etc.
