photograph quality here is horrible. but that wasn't the point of today.

so this day is more or less the reason i'm two weeks behind on blip. left austin at 5a to attend a budget meeting at BRIT. commence the worst morning i have had in a very, very long time. watched most of my great friends there get laid off (including sam) - and erin, and robert, pictured here, as well as so many others. and watched those few who were left share in the sadness i felt.

i could write a book about what this place and these people have meant to me but i don't want to revisit that tonight.

spent all the rest of the day (starting at 2p) more or less drinking, singing, sharing time and space and love.

had to drive back to austin the next morning at 5a. more tears than i've had in a while.
