Spur winged plover in flight

Terrible light, flat dark, and grey, and my camera doesn't like taking moving targets at slow shutter speeds, or large apertures, so this is the best of a bad lot.

The one I liked which showed the spurs on the wings was awful in all other respects. Murphy's law.

Scientific name: Vanellus miles novaehollandiae (so that's a mouthful)
