Princess Anushka

Worked half a day today, just the afternoon. This morning I had to drop the car off to the garage, as the brakes have been making a rubbing noise, new brake pads required. After dropping them off, I went and spent a little time with my uncle and his 2 daughters, who are over from London and Melbourne. Nice to have a bit of time with them, as we didn't really get to see much of them growing up with them living in Australia.

Work this afternoon was busy. I had to make a splint for a chap who has been a tricky customer, often spitting and swearing at anyone who is trying to do anything with him. My colleague who is working with him asked me to take the lead on the splint, and while he started off being a bit stroppy, we made our way through it. We'll wait and see what tomorrow brings when I have to check his skin after wearing it tonight.

We also had an Outpatient come in who was light fingered and was caught red handed with my colleague's wallet and iPhone. Apparently last time this guy was in, he nicked our microwave. Rolled out to his taxi with it on his lap, and the taxi driver helped him put it in. Needless to say, he's probably not going to be very welcome again...
