Open Studios

Every year, my friends and I tour the Open Studios in the area. There are, as this year, usually several exhibited in local churches, and others in homes. Its always a good walk, great lunch, and general fun time. One of us always buys something. Usually it's one friend buying jewellery, but there were no jewellery makers this year. This time, unusually, it was me. I bought a mug from this artist, Heidi Farrar, which had a highly realistic bee on it. 

It has also been a baking hot day, so the extra is from the garden of one of the churches, with all the cherry blossom now with petals adorning the lawn.
