Bluebell in a Pool of Light

One of those night when my leg would just not get comfortable. Up at 6 am and made a cup of tea.

Wandered down to the pond (see extra) to discover this single bluebell stem standing in a pool of light.

Superb weather today. Stayed in house to try and recuperate. Now watching too many Marvel films on Netflix. Mind you, I really enjoyed the Maigret the other day. Am in awe of the production values with views of Paris from 50 years ago and everyone in dress from the 1950s.

Maybe, if Len feels like it, we shall have a barbecue later but it's not the same when I can't sit comfortably in a chair.
