Murthly Signal Box
This is the sole remainder of the Murthly Railway station, opened in 1856 and closed down in 1965, although the railway is still in use. Apparently these buildings are rare and form part of the Scottish Industrial heritage. It's in need of more tlc ! One of our friends lives close by, I've long been fascinated by the building.
For MonoMonday with its theme 'Solo', with thanks to MerrilHope for hosting this month
