High up....high key
Well another glorious day dawned, warm and bright. Breakfast in the garden, a walk for a newspaper, then back home ready for todays visitors, youngest son and DiL.
They arrived nice and early so we all sat in the garden chatting and catching up with each others news. I disappeared indoors just after midday to make lunch..... we had flatbreads topped with avocado, dry cured maple bacon, fried egg, cherry tomatoes, sprinkled with chopped green chilli and spring onions :-D went down a treat :-))
We passed another lovely couple of hours just sat on the deck in the shade before they had to head off, grass cutting and laundry beckoned. Its so nice for those who work to have nice weather on a bank holiday for a change.
I realised I hadnt got a blip, so used our cherry tree, with the bright sunlight in an attempt to kill two birds with one stone, get todays blip and a high key image.......which I need for nightschool homework, hope this fits the bill!
Later hub and I continued the theme, sitting on the deck, but with a couple of Aperol Spritzers, it has been bliss doing nothing for a change.
We had a light tea, just cheese and biscuits, with a few prawns in marie rose sauce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and celery.
Its now almost dusk and we still have the patio doors wide open, I can here the birds twittering .......snd so ends another lovely day.
Pity the forecast is changeable.
