Dawyck.

A lovely day out at Dawyck Botanical Gardens today with K. 

I would be grateful for any help you can give identifying the flower. 

The garden is mostly into tree conservation, but there were banks of daffodils and although the rhododendrons were not all at their best there were some stunning examples. Plus a few pheasants. 

We came third in the book quiz and I feel that we acquitted ourselves very well considering the winning team were forty points ahead of us. 

Altogether a satisfying day.
